Sectors

Same method, different plans: every sector has its own risks, hours and regulatory constraints.

Sectors

Risk is not the same for everyone

A logistics warehouse fears goods disappearing during shift changes; a shop loses margin to shoplifting within hours of opening; a construction site is stripped of copper over the weekend; an emergency department must manage verbal aggression without compromising care.

That is why we do not sell standard packages. Below are the contexts we work in every day and the type of presence that usually works best — a starting point for the conversation, not a price list.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we are asked most often about private security, timings and costs.

No, and that is deliberate. Lion Security provides unarmed private security only: static posts, concierge services, access control, inspection patrols, event stewarding and monitoring. Our officers prevent incidents through presence and procedure and, when the situation requires it, immediately call the emergency services with a qualified report. If your context genuinely requires an armed sworn guard, we will say so during the survey.
We operate as private security that complements police activity, never replaces it. In practice: our officers are trained to recognise and classify events, preserve the scene, gather useful information (times, descriptions, vehicle plates, available recordings) and pass it on immediately via the emergency number. At events we take part in technical planning meetings and maintain a direct channel with local and national police throughout.
Yes, both, with no commitment. We visit within 24 working hours of your request, review entrances, hours, weak points and anything that has already happened, and send you a written quote the same day or within 48 hours at the latest. The quote sets out hours, shifts, procedures and one final figure — no surprise items on the invoice.
Usually 48 hours from signature for static posts, concierge services and patrols: the time needed to select officers, train them on your site and prepare written assignment instructions. For events we recommend at least 15 days' notice for the security plan and liaison with the authorities, though we do handle urgent requests. CCTV installations depend on equipment lead times, which we state in the quote.
It depends on three factors: the actual hours of cover, the time bands (nights and holidays affect labour costs) and the complexity of the procedures. That is why we do not publish price lists — they would be fictional. What we can promise is the method: during the survey we size the service around real risk, and if fewer hours are enough, the quote will say so.
We work with renewable annual contracts and, for events or temporary needs, with one-off agreements. The notice period is stated in the contract and is symmetrical: it applies to you as it does to us. We do not use multi-year automatic renewal clauses or disproportionate exit penalties — if the service works, you stay because it makes sense.
Our operational base is in Brescia, but we work across the whole of Italy and throughout Europe. On request we follow clients beyond national borders, with teams that travel with the assignment and a single point of coordination from our operations centre. A static post only works with genuine coordination: before accepting an assignment we check that we can guarantee the standard, and if we cannot we would rather say so upfront.
They are our own employees on proper contracts under the national collective agreement, not occasional contractors. Every officer receives paid initial training on service procedures, emergency management, first aid, fire safety, verbal conflict handling and data protection, with periodic refreshers. Event staff are additionally registered on the Prefecture list required by Ministerial Decree of 6 October 2009.
With documents, not trust. You receive a digital report every shift with start and end times, checks completed, anomalies found and photographs where relevant. For patrols, each checkpoint is scanned digitally with date and time, so the report proves every single round. You also have a dedicated contact for periodic service reviews.
Every processing activity involving personal data — visitor registers, access control, CCTV — is configured in line with the GDPR: privacy notices, signage, defined retention periods, appointment of authorised staff and written instructions. Where systems could enable remote monitoring of employees, we verify the trade union agreement or labour inspectorate authorisation required by Article 4 of the Italian Workers' Statute. We hand you the documentation to keep on file.
We act only under a written mandate from the party entitled to the vehicle — a finance house, rental or leasing company, dealership or fleet owner — and after verifying the agreement, the termination notice and the vehicle details. From there we handle tracing, documented repossession with a written record and photographic report, transport and storage in a CCTV-monitored compound. Every operation is preceded or accompanied by notification to the police force with jurisdiction: our officers are unarmed and use no form of coercion. If the keeper objects or disputes the title, we stand down and return a full report to the client so the matter can be pursued through the courts. We operate across the whole of Italy and throughout Europe.
